CNA-Field PRN weekends

Hospice of Marion County, a member of Empath Health, is seeking a caring and motivated CNA Field to work in Marion County providing exceptional care. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 8am to 8p on Saturday and Sunday, PRN. Since 1983, Hospice of Marion County has served families across Ocala and Marion County with compassionate, expert end-of-life care. As part of Empath Health, we help neighbors with advanced illness live as comfortably and meaningfully as possible, while supporting their families and caregivers with respect, guidance, and dignity. What You'll Do Deliver physical care to patients, including bathing, changing linens, feeding, assisting with ambulation and transfers, and supporting range-of-motion exercises and positioning. Reinforce dressings as needed and adhere to infection control procedures and Standard Precautions against Bloodborne Pathogens. Perform light housekeeping duties in patient areas, including laundry, trash disposal, meal preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, disinfecting equipment, and replenishing supplies. Collaborate with other Hospice team members to educate primary caregivers and families regarding physical care, disease processes, and emotional support for patients. Why Join Empath Health? What You'll Need Experience: Six months of experience as a CNA in a hospital or long-term care skilled nursing facility preferred. A letter of recommendation from an instructor may be requested for candidates with no prior job experience. Licensure: Valid Florida Board of Nursing certification (CNA License).
