Position Overview 2026-2027 School Year. Before and After-school Program Leader - San Ramon Valley, CA AlphaBEST: After School is where adventure begins! In this role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping memories that children will cherish for a lifetime. As a Program Leader we look for individuals to inspire, spark curiosity, encourage creativity, foster a sense of community and warmth, and promote a deep sense of belonging for every child. Pay: $23+/per hour. Hiring Bonus: $250. Start Date Mid to late June. Location Rancho Romero Elementary School & Creekside Elementary School. Schedule Must be available Monday - Friday (3 different start times available). No weekends. Benefits Part-time benefits including health available. Employee referral program monetary incentive. Qualifications & Responsibilities Must have 15 semester units or equivalent quarter units from an accredited college or university. At least four years of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center. 12 units of courses covering child growth and development, human development, child-family-community, or program/curriculum. Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet program staffing needs. Registered and have full clearance from the state childcare licensing agency. Proof of experience as required by state childcare licensing regulations. As an AlphaBEST Program Leader, you will be trained to do the following: Lead a group of students through exciting adventures in fitness, the arts, technology, and more! Work collaboratively with peers to ignite children's sense of wonder. Encourage creativity and intellectual curiosity by building on students' interests and talents. Provide a caring, family-oriented environment where positive staff, child, and parent relationships are fostered.
