We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Essential Duties:Prepares function sites and assures meeting rooms are set according to specifications.Serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines.Sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas according to Banquet Event Order or as directed.Attends and actively participates in pre-shift meetingsCommunicates special requests and concerns to the department managerHelps to maintain clean banquet and kitchen areasOversees all equipment with care.Assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area.Ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise.Incorporates safe and sanitary work practices throughout job performance.Regular and reliable attendance.Maintains exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to employees, clients and vendors.Performs other duties as required.Minimum Requirements:High school diploma or general education degree (GED)Weekday and weekend availabilityBackground in bartending is preferred, but not required.Physical Demands:Frequently stands and walksUses hands; reaches with arms and handsStoops, kneels, crawls or crouchesTalks or hears.
