Job Description

GliaCell is seeking a Principal AWS Software Engineer on one of our subcontracts. This is a full‑time position offering the opportunity to support a U.S. Government customer. The mission is to provide technical expertise that assists in sustaining critical mission‑related software and systems to a large government contract.

Key Requirements

• Possess an active or re‑instatable TS/SCI with Polygraph security clearance. (This position requires in‑scope poly within 7 years).
• U.S. Citizenship.
• 20+ years Software Engineering experience and a BS degree in Computer Science or related.
• Four (4) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Works well independently as well as on a team.
• Strong communication skills.

Key Skills

• Experience developing in AWS with managed services.

Location

Location: Annapolis Junction, Maryland (Partial Telework of 16 hours per week is expected)

Note: Telework granted for this position does not become available until after the individual has been in the position for a period of time, has acclimated to tasking/duties, and has meaningful work that can be done remotely. Telework can also be removed at any time.

Salary Range

The salary range for this full‑time position is $200,000 to $280,000. SIGN-ON BONUS ELIGIBLE.
