Job Overview The Patient Services Advocate is an AltaMed ambassador who welcomes and attends to the needs of all patients, creating a positive front‑office patient experience by managing expectations while demonstrating compassion and respect. The Advocate also functions as a member of the health‑care team, assisting in the delivery of patient‑focused care through excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. Minimum Requirements High School diploma or equivalent required. Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a customer‑service agent, greeter, or receptionist (preferred). Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese strongly preferred. Valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines. Compensation $25.00 – $29.38 hourly. Compensation may vary based on budget, experience, qualifications, licensure, and certifications. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
