Job Description

The Repair Calibration Technician II is responsible for the in-house testing, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of Evident Instrumentation used in laboratory, manufacturing and other environments.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform in-house testing, troubleshooting, repair, and calibration of portable RVI (remote visual inspection) Evident Instrumentation.

• Ensure timely, professional, and effective response to customer service needs to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

• Responsible for analysing results, and maintenance of logs and required documentation.

• Prepare technical reports and Quality Control data for each unit’s record.

• Must be able to read and comprehend standard Engineering documentation, such as, schematics, BOM’s, test procedures, wiring diagrams and assembly drawings.

• Must be able to effectively use the following electronic test equipment and software: multi-meter and PC diagnostic tools.

• Follow detailed repair, calibration, and administration procedures for Evident products with excellent attention to detail and ability to multi-task numerous customer repairs through to completion.

• Excel in fast paced environment, ability to multi-task and work / meet shipping deadlines.

• Record all pertinent repair activities with appropriate detail in the business CRM systems.

• Prepare technical reports and Quality Control data for service events as required.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• HS Degree and associate degree in Electronics or equivalent

• Military or Technical School is required .

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline is preferred.

 

Experience:

• Experience working in a calibration and repair facility is strongly desired.

• Experience in technical after sales service environment/organization field service would be highly desired.

• 3+ years of experience repairing instruments and/or electronic devices.

Pay range: $26.00 - $28.50 per hour, depending on experience plus a 5% annual bonus target.

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The pay rate for this role is currently $26.00 - $28.50 per hour. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location.
