Role
Outpatient Internal Medicine physician providing primary care services in a community clinic, primarily for patients over 65. Responsible for treating complex conditions, developing treatment plans, and fostering strong patient relationships. Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers within a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, behavioral health specialists, and pharmacists. No nights or weekends, with clinic hours Monday-Friday 8am-5pm and minimal call.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, value-based care focused on the whole person
- Manage complex medical conditions and determine optimal treatments
- Supervise and collaborate with healthcare team members
- Build and maintain strong patient-provider relationships
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with seniors
- Fellowship in Geriatrics preferred
- Board Certified/Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
- Ability to obtain and maintain medical license in North Carolina
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary $220K-$250K, with potential for over $300K in first year
- Annual bonus based on quality metrics and sign-on bonus
