Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time Nights – Labor and Delivery (L&D) Unit Sign on Bonus for Eligible New Hires** Work location: Texas Health HEB, 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022 Work hours: Full-time, Night Shift, 36 hours weekly, 3-12 hour shifts, 6:30 pm – 6:30 am – Self‑Scheduling Sign‑on bonus for eligible RN’s (eligible upon hire with a signed 2‑year retention agreement)*** L&D Department Highlights The Siratt Women’s Center at Texas Health Hurst Euless Bedford (HEB) Hospital offers a full‑time opportunity for an experienced Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN. 9 bed L&D unit and 4 bed OB ED, 3 OR suites unit with an average of 200 deliveries a month. Level III NICU. Maternal Designation III. Wide range of patients and plan of care – nitrous oxide, midwifery, and high‑risk patients. Here’s What You Need Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred. RN – Registered Nurse Upon Hire required. BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required. ACLS – within 90 days of hire. NRP – within 90 days of hire. NRPA – within 90 days of hire. CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training – within 90 days of hire. 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program required. 1 year of RN experience in L&D strongly preferred. What You Will Do Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process. Assesses the patient. Plans the care of the patient. Intervenes as appropriate. Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions. Incorporates age‑specific safety/infection control measures into patient care. Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others’ need for information. Maintains continuity of patient care inter‑shift, inter‑hospital, and while expediting out‑of‑hospital transfers.
