Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Required Qualifications:

• Current active Speech Language Pathologist license issued by New York State
• Valid NY certification as a Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities (TSSLD)
• Experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong understanding of speech-language interventions and individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Skilled communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with families, educators, and multi-disciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of speech, language, and communication disorders for students enrolled in the summer session
• Develop, implement, and update individualized education plans based on each student’s needs
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to ensure comprehensive support for student goals
• Monitor student progress and maintain thorough, timely documentation in adherence to both district and program regulations
• Travel between assigned locations, providing flexibility and exposure to diverse caseloads
• Offer guidance and support to team members as needed in the delivery of speech and language services
