Job Summary:
This Ultrasonographer Echo position is located in Omaha, Nebraska. The role involves performing cardiac and vascular ultrasound procedures, acquiring high-quality echocardiographic and vascular data, and providing patient care in an acute care setting. The position offers an opportunity to work with advanced equipment and contribute to community health through educational support and high standards of diagnostic imaging.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 8-hour days; 40 hours per week; start date 08/24/2026.
• Required Qualifications: High school education or equivalent; Associate's degree or equivalent from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program with experience performing all types of cardiac ultrasound; minimum of 3 years of solid cardiac sonographer experience (will consider 2 years if at an academic teaching hospital); minimum 2 years of travel experience; active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) certification; registered in cardiac ultrasound (ARDMS; RCS via CCI acceptable); effective verbal and written communication skills; self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 18 years of age; Associate's degree from an accredited cardiac ultrasound program performing all types of cardiac ultrasound preferred; ability to make clinical decisions; experience with ultrasound equipment, transesophageal transducers, research computer systems, and digital echo storage systems; knowledge of cardiovascular and vascular circulatory principles preferred.
• Department: Echocardiography; Equipment: Philips EPIQs, Intellispace EPIC for EMR; Responsibilities include performing cardiac and/or vascular ultrasound procedures and providing educational training to staff and trainees.
• Additional Information: The role involves a non-billable orientation of 12 hours; call-off policy allows the client to give 36 hours' notice every 13 weeks; local candidates are not accepted, with a 100-mile radius restriction from the site.
