Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments of clients’ mental health statuses through interviews and evidence-based questionnaires, ensuring a holistic view of their emotional well-being.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using diverse therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices.

• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, employing data analysis to track improvements and identify areas needing enhancement.

• Engage in regular multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss client cases, share insights, and ensure integrated care across social services, health care providers, and community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Counselor at Peaceful Perspective Life Counseling, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and other emotional challenges. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and the successful candidate will demonstrate cultural competence and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet the needs of each individual.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a licensed mental health professional (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) in accordance with the State of California regulations.

Compensation and Benefits\n
