Cardiology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant

Providence, RI A growing cardiology group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its team. This is a new position , with an additional provider expected to be added in approximately three months. The role will be in an office inside the hospital and offers a combination of inpatient and outpatient cardiology, working closely with experienced cardiologists who are willing to train the right candidate. Responsibilities Include New patient evaluations and cardiology consultations Inpatient and outpatient patient management Evaluation and treatment of patients with cardiac conditions Collaboration with cardiologists on treatment plans Stress testing as needed Anticipated volume of up to 20–25 patients per day Schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Ideal Candidate NP or PA Cardiology experience highly preferred A ICU / critical care background will be considered Experience with cardiac disease and treatment modalities Strong clinical assessment and patient-management skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Rhode Island Medical Society
