Hiring Immediately Pay dependent on Experience; PAID WEEKLY!

Typical Schedule: Monday Friday 6:00 AM to 5:00PM (Overtime Eligible)

Pay Range: Dependent on Experience $28 - $35+ per hour, and discretionary quarterly branch performance bonus

Location: This role will be based in our shop in Odessa, TX with the occasional need to maintenance or repair equipment in the field.

Required Skills & Experience:

Sunstate is a proud Second Chance employer that evaluates every candidate on a case-by-case basis.

• A minimum of 2 to 3+ years' experience as diesel mechanic, with a construction equipment rental background preferred.
• Intermediate troubleshooting and diagnosing skills with electrical and hydraulic systems, diesel engines, including Tier 4 and aftertreatment systems.
• Experience performing major and minor repairs on diesel and gas engines, electrical, hydraulics, pneumatics, as well as drive trains is required.
• Must have the necessary tools you need to do the job; averaging $5,000+ in value.
• Inspect, service, and test equipment, ensuring performance to manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine service on equipment which includes checking fluid levels, changing fluid and lubricating.
• Perform novice level welding repairs (MIG & SMAW).
• Prepare and maintain accurate records on the maintenance and repair of equipment, including warranty records.
• Team-player, you work well supporting your team to achieve goals.
