What You’ll Bring:
- Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) required
- Experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans in educational or pediatric settings
- Strong collaboration skills to work closely with multidisciplinary teams, staff, students, and families
- Ability to collect and analyze data to guide student programming and interventions
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Flexibility to adapt to the needs of a public therapeutic day school environment
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments and create individualized plans
- Train and support teachers, paraprofessionals, and staff in behavior intervention strategies
- Monitor student progress, adjusting strategies as needed for optimal outcomes
- Collaborate with IEP teams, contributing professional insight and recommendations
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with school policies and legal standards
