Order Entry Clerk

The Order Entry Clerk supports a contract project by accurately entering customer orders, updating inventory records, and performing routine clerical tasks. The role requires consistent attention to detail, dependable data entry skills, and professional communication while working with standard office software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter customer orders into the order entry system and verify details for completeness and accuracy
• Update and maintain inventory records to reflect incoming and outgoing orders
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, organizing documents, and maintaining orderly records related to orders and inventory
• Communicate with customers and internal teams to clarify order information and resolve basic inquiries professionally
• Use Microsoft Office applications to prepare, update, and track order-related documents and reports
• Monitor order status and ensure timely processing according to established procedures
• Identify and correct data entry errors or inconsistencies to maintain data integrity
• Collaborate with colleagues to support smooth order flow and efficient office operations

Essential Skills

• Proven data entry skills with strong accuracy and speed
• Experience performing order entry tasks in a clerical or administrative environment
• Basic knowledge of inventory processes and record-keeping
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel
• Strong customer service skills with clear, professional communication
• Ability to perform clerical duties such as filing, organizing, and document management
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Job Type & Location

This is a contract position based out of Blue Bell, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
