What You'll Do:
• Enter data from source documents into accounting system, databases, or spreadsheets

• Post accounts receivable and accounts payable journal entries into the accounting system   

• Create invoices in the accounting system and distribute to customers

• Verify and input accounts payable details and assist with the check payment process 

• Complete daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations 

• Monitor and record incoming payments and deposits

• Prepare data for sales and use tax payments

• Effectively communicate and work with a variety of associates regarding invoicing and payment approvals for sports events 

• Effectively communicate with external vendors regarding set-up requirements, credits, and discrepancies 

• Assist with credit card expense reconciliation and posting journal entries

• Identify and escalate priority issues

• Represent the department and the organization favorably and in accordance with established company standards and associate attributes at all times 

• Other administrative duties – general filing and copying as assigned 

Skills You'll Need:

• Associate degree in accounting or related field

• 1-3 years of accounts receivable / accounts payable experience preferred

• Demonstrated ability to solve problems, prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

• Goal oriented, with excellent time management and organizational skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to interact effectively and work efficiently with people at all levels in an organization as well as interface with customers and vendors

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

• Ability to keep sensitive information confidential

• Intermediate level of proficiency with PC based software programs – Excel, Word and Sage Intacct software is a plus

Compensation and Benefits

We are currently seeking an in-office, part-time position, however with work demand it could evolve into a full-time position.  Hourly pay rate begins at $22/hr. and pay will be commensurate with experience.
