Position: Interventional Radiology Technician

Shift Details

Schedule: Day 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30)

Position Description

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of experience in interventional radiology, with 2 years preferred. Additional experience in Cath/EP is a plus, as candidates may float to various departments as needed.

Qualifications

Experience: Minimum of 18 months in specialty; 2 years preferred
Certifications:
- ARRT Certification
- Florida State License
- AHA ACLS Certification
- AHA BLS Certification
- RCIS Certification preferred
On-Call Requirement: Yes
Floating Requirement: Candidates may float within the scope of practice to meet facility needs
Weekend Requirement: Will be discussed with Manager

References: Two references from a direct supervisor/manager required
Orientation: EKG and Pharmacy tests required with two attempts max for each; no remediation for retests

Skills Required

Diagnostic Cardiac Cath lab experience
Interventional Cardiac Cath lab experience
Proficiency in performing cardiac procedures including stent placements, catheterizations, and IABP placement/removal
Ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and perform sterile techniques

Work Conditions

The facility operates under strict policies and maintains a smoke-free environment. All travel candidates must adhere to annual competency requirements as part of their employment.
