Research Scientist - Neuroscience

The Cellas Hayes Laboratory is hiring for a Research Scientist I in Translational Neuroepidemiology at the Sanders Brown Center on Aging and the Department of Neuroscience at the University of Kentucky. The lab investigates the biological, vascular, and social determinants of brain aging and Alzheimer's disease and related dementias using large-scale, deeply phenotyped cohort studies. We are seeking a motivated early-career scientist interested in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of epidemiology, biostatistics, neuroscience, and aging. Ideal candidates will have experience or interest in: Longitudinal data analysis Biostatistics and epidemiology Plasma biomarkers and multi-omics Social determinants of health Reproducible research workflows in R (Python experience is a plus) This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful research focused on understanding and preventing Alzheimer's disease and related dementias while working within one of the nation's leading aging research centers.
