Each day will start at our facility in Philadelphia and then work at our group homes located in Philadelphia, Montgomery, and Bucks counties.As a Licensed Practical Nurse (Group Home Visiting Nurse) at AVS Merakey, you'll provide direct nursing care to individuals with developmental and physical disabilities. Merakey welcomes all Veterans to apply!The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:Graduation from an accredited practical/vocational nursing program.Current license as an LPN in the Commonwealth of PA.Preferably, at least one year of experience as an LPN.Genuine interest in working with individuals with physical and developmental disabilities.Possession of a current and valid PA driver's license, along with reliable transportation.Physical capability to comfortably exert up to 50lbs occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs continuously.
