About the Position

Job Title

Radiologic Technologist (MR)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Variable shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and on-call coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality MR images that meet established radiology department standards
• Demonstrate competence across a variety of MRI equipment and technology, including Neuro, Abdominal, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI
• Practice and enforce safety guidelines for self, support personnel, and patients
• Maintain flexibility to staff various work locations, shift times, and shift lengths including days, evenings, and weekends
• Respond to on-call pager for after-hours nights, weekends, and holiday coverage
• Foster teamwork through effective communication in a high-acuity academic medical center environment

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-approved or recognized Health Science program
• ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of MRI experience as a staff technologist required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Organized, efficient, and able to multitask; ability to work independently with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 2 or more years of MRI experience as a staff technologist
• Experience in Neuro, Abdominal, and/or Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI modalities
• Adaptable and team-oriented with comfort working in a high-acuity academic medical center setting
