Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department night shift position requiring active MA licensure and PALS/ACLS/BLS certifications.

Details

• Work in a hospital Emergency Department setting
• Care for patients with urgent, critical, or non-urgent conditions requiring triage and ongoing assessment
• Treat patients across all age populations including pre-natal, neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric
• Night shift schedule from 19:00-07:30
• Work every other weekend
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required (no conditional or pending licenses accepted)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required (AHA only)
• CPI or MOAB certification required
• Epic EMR experience

Additional Information

• Perform triage, ongoing patient assessment, immediate interventions, and discharge teaching
• Interact effectively with patients across a range of intellectual and physical abilities
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed
• Local candidates accepted if residing within 60 miles of Boston, with a reduced rate applying
• First-time travelers may be considered
