Effector Production Support Electrical Engineer II (3rd shift)

Location Tucson, Arizona (US-AZ-TUCSON) Shift 3rd Shift (Monday–Friday, 11pm–8am) Job Title Electrical Engineer – Circuit Card Assembly / RF / Analog / Digital Responsibilities Enhance electrical engineering skills working with digital, analog, and/or RF hardware testing and debugging complex circuit card assemblies or electro‑mechanical systems. Collaborate and coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, and other Engineering disciplines to achieve/document concurrence and resolve issues that may arise during production, testing, and integration. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field. Minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience involving RF, analog, digital, and/or mixed signal circuit design or analysis and/or digital signal processing. Experience with laboratory equipment including waveform generators, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and/or network analyzers. Strong troubleshooting skills and hands‑on experience. U.S. citizenship required. Active and transferable U.S. DoD Secret clearance required prior to start date. Preferred Qualifications Experience in root‑cause corrective action investigations. Experience performing electrical engineering design of CCA, EO, RF, seeker/sensor, or electronic subsystem, including circuit design, CCA assembly, electrical test, and production/supplier support. Experience with test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control, printed circuit board fabrication, circuit card assembly processes, and related industry specifications. Familiarity with missile communication transceivers and data links, inertial measurement units (IMU), and GPS receiver subsystems. Experience with statistical process control (SPC) methods to improve production yield. Experience with Mentor Graphics Designer, PSPICE, System Vision, MATLAB, Mathcad, IDL, CST, Microwave Design Studio, HFSS, ADS, and other design and simulation tools. Technical writing, formal presentation, and engineering change notice implementation experience. Ability to work independently and provide technical oversight, cost estimation, tracking, and reporting. Willingness to travel less than 10% annually.
