Senior Technical Project Manager – Broadcast Studio Builds West Los Angeles, CA (4–5 days onsite) 6-month contract (6 month extensions) Overview We are seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to join a high-performing Engineering PMO supporting large-scale broadcast infrastructure projects for live sports production. This role is not software-focused. It is centered on physical environments, including control room remodels, studio builds, announcer booths, and remote broadcast setups for major sporting events. All work is tied to live sports timelines, with key deliverables aligned to major upcoming events (including World Cup-related production deadlines). Key Responsibilities Lead end-to-end delivery of broadcast infrastructure projects from planning through installation Manage multiple complex projects tied to live sports production environments Partner with engineering, facilities, vendors, and operations teams to design and build broadcast spaces Oversee control room remodels, studio upgrades, announcer booths, and remote broadcast kits Track all logistics required for buildouts, including equipment, vendors, delivery schedules, and installation timelines Manage project plans, budgets, and purchasing workflows, primarily using Smartsheet Coordinate closely with procurement teams to ensure alignment from ordering through installation Facilitate cross-functional meetings and maintain alignment across all stakeholders Track and manage RAID (risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies) Provide consistent project updates to leadership and stakeholders Required Experience 15+ years of Technical Project Management experience Strong background in broadcast infrastructure, studio environments, or AV systems Experience managing physical buildouts and facilities-based projects Proven experience working with facilities teams to design and deliver technical spaces Experience managing vendors, procurement processes, and installation timelines Ability to manage multiple large-scale projects in a fast-paced, event-driven environment Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work across all levels of an organization Tools Smartsheet (heavily used – required) Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Slack Onsite 4 days per week (occasionally 5 days during installations) Must be comfortable participating in construction walks and on-site builds Nice to Have Experience with major media/broadcast companies (e.g., DIRECTV, Disney, NBCUniversal, Warner Bros.) #J-18808-Ljbffr
