Parking Services Agent I

Job Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES: This parking services position serves as a point of contact for visitors, students, and faculty/staff and involves record keeping functions. The employee provides accurate information to the public concerning parking rules, regulations, and gives directions to parking lots and buildings on campus. This position also enforces parking regulations. The enforcement duties may include such activities as issuing parking-citations and regulating traffic into and out of parking facilities. This position monitors/patrols university properties for compliance with parking rules and regulations and enforces rules and regulations fairly.

APPOINTMENT: As soon as Possible

HOURLY WAGE: $15.00-$16.50 (anticipated starting salary of $15.00)

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Possession of a valid and current State of Illinois driver's license.
3. No record of conviction of a felony or a crime involving moral turpitude.

For a degree to be considered, it must be conferred from a regionally accredited degree-granting institution of higher education (or equivalent from an international accrediting body). The degree must be conferred at the time of application.
