Job Description

Material Handlers

1st shift: 5:00 AM -2:30 PM

2nd shift 3:30PM - 2AM

Monday-Thursday (Mandatory overtime on Friday when needed)

PAY: $21/hour

Location: El Mirage, AZ

Job Duties:

Run overhead crane system to handle steel beams, plates and assemblies.
Handle and move small pieces of steel and shop equipment weighing 10 to 50 pounds.
Assist with cleaning and painting of steel including handling paint and solvents
Drive forklift and tractor.
Load and unload trucks and rail cars utilizing above equipment and systems
Perform yard and building cleaning tasks and assist in maintenance of building and equipment

Job Requirements:

Individuals must have adequate strength, mobility, dexterity, vision, hearing and stamina to perform the above tasks with minimal assistance from others
Be able to follow instructions well and work without constant supervision
Must be able to work in hot environment.
Must be able to pass a physical.
Experience with construction or operating overhead crane
