As a Security Officer Roving Patrol Officer in Whitsett, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology-focused location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and help to deter security-related incidents. In this people-first role, you will support day-to-day operations through strong communication, customer service, and teamwork while bringing agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity to every shift.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, offices, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and report suspicious behavior, policy concerns, and/or maintenance-related issues to the appropriate site personnel.
• Support Allied Universal standards by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing assigned reports and/or logs in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
