Essential Job Functions Finishing Tasks: Perform sanding, polishing, and cleaning tasks on railing components to prepare them for final assembly. Apply coatings, sealants, and other finishes according to strict company and client specifications. Quality Inspection: Inspect all finished products to ensure they meet or exceed VIVA Railings' high-quality standards and client expectations. Identify any issues with the finished products and collaborate with the manufacturing team to resolve them promptly. Equipment Operation: Operate a variety of finishing tools and equipment safely and proficiently. Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working order and stored properly after use. Safety and Cleanliness: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations within the shop environment. Maintain a clean and orderly work area to promote a safe working environment. Record Keeping: Keep detailed records of materials used, work completed, and time spent on each task to aid in production tracking and efficiency. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in a relevant field is a plus. Prior experience in a finishing role, preferably within a metalworking or railing production setting. Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to producing aesthetically superior work. Familiarity with safety practices and regulations in a manufacturing environment. Physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive tasks.
