Phlebotomist

Labcorp is a global leader in diagnostic testing and drug development. The Phlebotomist position provides vital services to patients and healthcare providers. Job Overview Position: Phlebotomist — Junction City, OR. Work schedule: Monday–Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm; overtime and rotating Saturdays may be required. The role includes performing venipuncture and capillary collections for all age groups, data entry, billing, specimen preparation, and exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity, alcohol tests, and other diagnostic studies Enter patient information accurately and timely Process billing information and collect payments when required Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis Maintain patient and specimen logs Provide superior customer service to all patients Perform administrative and clerical duties as needed Travel to additional sites when required Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Preferred Qualifications Phlebotomy certification or completion of an accredited training program Three (3) months or more experience as a Phlebotomist Additional Job Standards and Requirements Certification must be from an accredited agency if work experience is lacking Pass a standardized color‑blindness test Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service Ability to work independently or in a team Comfortable working under minimal supervision Flexibility to work overtime as needed Benefits Employees scheduled 20+ hours per week: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), PTO/FTO, Tuition Reimbursement, and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees scheduled less than 20 hours, casual, intern or temporary: 401(k) only. Employees on 7 on/7 off schedule: all benefits except PTO/FTO.
