Maintenance Specialist – 2nd ShiftLocation: Frankfort, KY Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:30 AM Salary: $34.00–$37.00/hourAbout the RoleJoin a manufacturing facility as a Maintenance Specialist responsible for keeping 75–100 machines operational across 10 different equipment types. This role requires strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills, with an emphasis on PLC systems and preventative maintenance in a fast-paced environment.Primary ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic equipment issuesPerform preventative and predictive maintenance using specialized tools and equipmentTroubleshoot PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems and electronic controlsRead and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and blueprintsRepair and rebuild electronic circuit boards and control panelsDocument all maintenance activities for record-keeping and future referenceConduct building electrical, construction, and security equipment maintenanceOperate forklifts as neededMaintain compliance with OSHA safety standardsRequired QualificationsHigh school diploma5 years' experience in a manufacturing environmentAdvanced knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repair methodsProficiency with PLC ladder logic and text-based control system programmingAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawingsStrong organizational skills to prioritize work orders and minimize downtimeBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systemsValid driver's licensePreferred QualificationsAutomotive manufacturing experiencePLC Technician CertificateForklift CertificationBenefitsMedical (low premiums), dental, and vision coverage401(k) with employer matchDisability and life insurancePTO: 120 hours/year (accrued after first year)RequirementsAbility to work with older equipmentStrong electrical knowledge, particularly with PLCsMust pass drug screening and background check
