Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose drivability concerns and other vehicle issues using professional diagnostic equipment.
• Perform mechanical repairs on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Handle diagnostic and repair work from initial diagnosis through completed repair.
• Complete repair estimates and digital vehicle inspections.
• Use Snap-on, Autel, and manufacturer-specific scan tools for automotive diagnostics.
• Work efficiently toward an expected production level of 40+ flagged hours per week.
• Document vehicle findings and repair needs while following shop processes.
• Focus on diagnostics and repairs while the service advisor handles parts ordering.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of professional automotive repair experience in an independent repair shop or dealership environment.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and problem-solving ability, including drivability diagnostics.
• Ability to complete repairs accurately and efficiently without continuous supervision.
• Experience working on domestic, Asian, and European vehicles.
• Own professional technician tools.
• Experience with Shop-Ware or digital vehicle inspection systems is helpful but not required.

Compensation & Benefits

• Flat-rate pay of $40-$50 per flagged hour, paid weekly.
• Expected production of 40+ flagged hours per week; current technicians typically average approximately 35-45 flagged hours per week.
• A short-term guarantee may be available during the first one to two weeks of onboarding; there is no ongoing guarantee after onboarding.
