This contract position offers the opportunity to serve diverse needs at three sites: an elementary, middle, and high school, each with active special education populations and a significant need for comprehensive evaluations. Bilingual psychologists, or professionals capable of fulfilling part-time or as-needed bilingual requirements, are especially encouraged to apply.

Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist.
• Demonstrated experience working in K-12 educational settings.
• Proficiency with special education evaluations, re-evaluations, and individualized education planning.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families.
• Bilingual skills in Spanish are highly valued, especially for flexible, part-time, or consultative candidates.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities.
• Commitment to confidentiality and ethical practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial and re-evaluations for special education eligibility across assigned elementary, middle, and high schools (over 360 special education students and 125 re-evaluations anticipated for the year).
• Administer and interpret psychological assessments, ensuring culturally responsive and equitable practices.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and monitor individualized education plans.
• Provide consultation, behavioral support, and recommendations for academic and mental health interventions.
• Deliver direct and indirect student support services, including crisis intervention when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and policy requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute creatively within the school community.
