Emergency Room NurseWe are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Nurse to join our dynamic team. This role requires a commitment to providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment.Position DetailsUnit: Emergency Room (ER)Shift Length: 12 hoursGuaranteed Hours: 36 hours per weekExperience Required: Minimum of 2 years in an emergency room settingRequired CertificationsACLSBLS CertificationNIHSSPALSTNCCShift NotesThis position will primarily be located at a facility in Tacoma, WA, with potential floating to other facilities within the region as needed.Unit InformationManager: Haley WahlFast Track: YesNumber of Beds/Trauma Bays: 33 (2 trauma bays)Psych/Seclusion Rooms: 5Average Patients per Day: 125-140Patient Ratios: 3-4:1EMR: EpicNurse Aides/Paramedics: ED TechniciansSecurity/Patient Sitters: Available 24/7Weekend Requirement: Yes, every other weekendHoliday Requirement: OccasionallyScrub Color: Navy Blue (top and bottom)Vents Availability: YesLab Draws: YesIV Team: Available 24/7 to support all departmentsRT Support: Available 24/7Pharmacy Support: Available 24/7 (20 hours from 0700-1500)Floor Specific Orientation: 1 DayCommon Diagnoses: Emergency cases including stroke, STEMI, trauma, and ACSQualificationsCandidates must have successfully completed at least one previous travel assignment in a similar role.
