Overview Licensed Practical Nurse – Psychiatric specialty in Manchester, New Hampshire. This travel assignment begins 07/06/2026 and runs for several weeks with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Responsibilities

• Provide direct, patient-centered care for individuals in an acute psychiatric setting under licensed supervision.
• Monitor mental status, vital signs, and overall patient condition; document changes in the medical record.
• Administer prescribed medications as authorized by scope of practice and facility policy; document administration and responses.
• Respond to changes in patient condition, participate in de-escalation and crisis intervention as part of the multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges; contribute to treatment planning and daily care coordination.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment; adhere to infection control and patient safety protocols.

Requirements

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse license (NH) or eligible to practice in New Hampshire.
• Completion of an approved practical nursing program.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
• 1) Psychiatric care or acute care experience preferred; 2) strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work the listed shift and respond to unit needs in a fast-paced setting.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and de-escalation techniques.
