  SUMMARY: Carter Creek Winery is currently hiring an Esthetician to provide excellent service to  the guests in our Resort and Spa. Come join the Carter family in Johnson City, Texas.

• Provide consistent professional skin care, body treatment, and waxing services.
• Effectively inform and educate our guests about specific wellness concerns. 
• Be flexible with scheduling, supporting the needs of the Spa.
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product as indicated on service protocols to assist with cost controls. 
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products offered. 
• Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the Spa's policies and procedures. 
• Perform prep work, properly clean and restock rooms as required. 
• Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guest incidents that require attention. 
• Actively promote the Spa, treatments, services, and retail. Promote programs, promotions, and discounts available. 
• Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously. 
• Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests. 
• Possess the ability to work without direct supervision. 
• Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment. 
• Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the Spa.
• Assist in all areas of Spa operation as requested by management. 

JOB KNOWLEDGE : State of Texas Cosmetology License as an Esthetician.

WORKING CONDITIONS : Spends majority of time indoors.  Bi-level structures.  Extensive facility. Indoor: temperature controlled, clean, and well-lighted offices, guest rooms, and public areas. Moderate exposure to hazardous substances and fumes.  Possible exposure to blood-borne pathogens. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight; move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.  Repetitive motion activities.  Coordinate multiple tasks. Ability to maintain physical strength. Healthy, positive, concise mindset.
