Grants Management Systems LeadGeorgetown University seeks an experienced grants management professional to lead the development, testing, and ongoing maintenance of the university's Grants Management System (GMS). The role supports the full grant lifecycle—from proposal development and submission through award acceptance, post-award accounting, and reporting.ResponsibilitiesDocument requirements and define business processes, policies, and procedures aligned with the university's research and finance strategies.Manage projects tactically, using strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to deliver timely, high-quality results.Implement new grants management features and functionality, reviewing, configuring, and evaluating system and user needs.Serve as the primary bridge between the University Information Systems office, the Department of Sponsored Projects Financial Operations (SPFO), and the Joint Office of Research Operations (JORA).Provide leadership to the Sponsored Accounting Office, pre-award offices, and academic offices during system transitions.QualificationsFive years of progressively responsible experience in financial system support, data warehouse support, or business analysis.Experience with Workday and higher-education finance systems preferred.Strong knowledge of financial applications, modern data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Cognos BI).Ability to document business processes in a technical format.Knowledge of OMB circulars, pre- and post-award processes, cost principles, and project management software.Strong project management, business acumen, and solutions orientation.Telework DesignationThis position is designated as TeleworkCompensationProjected salary range: $80,429.00 – $157,238.93 annually.BenefitsGeorgetown University offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, retirement savings, tuition assistance, work-life balance benefits, and employee discounts.EEO StatementGU is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
