Account Support Representative

Job Position: Account Support Representative Location: Spring Grove, IL 60081 Pay Rate: $20.00/hr Shift: 1st shift, Mon-Fri 8:00 a. m. to 4:00 p.m. Description: We’re looking for a dedicated and adaptable Account Support Representative (ASR) to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you’ll report directly to the Account Support Supervisor and Program Operations Manager. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our field crews, customers, internal business units, and the public. We need an adaptable problem-solver who can handle multiple tasks in a sometimes fast-paced environment and adjust to shifting project demands. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. You may occasionally need to take on on‑call responsibilities to meet the needs of the business, but all hours worked will be fully compensated. Account Support Representative Duties and Responsibilities Gather daily crew locations and distribute accurate reports to the appropriate customers. Respond promptly to daily emails, phone calls, and questions from field crews and customers. Collect, sort, track, and enter production data and invoices to prepare them for final billing. Review invoices, as‑built documents, and field photos to identify quality‑control errors, such as under‑ or over‑billing. Contact field crews and internal teams to correct errors and gather necessary answers. Prepare and format customer data and spreadsheets for uploads to the system database. Update job status records across the company and customer databases. Issue and assign ready work to field crews, track production progress, and ensure timely completion. Monitor locate tickets for alerts that require revised instructions before resubmission. Communicate estimated times of arrival (ETAs) and field issues to customers to keep them fully informed. Escalate complex problems to your supervisor and request assistance when appropriate. Collaborate effectively with counterparts, supervisors, and management. Account Support Representative Qualifications and Requirements A college degree is preferred but not required. We will train the right candidate. Applicants without a degree who can demonstrate proven skills and relevant past work experience are strongly encouraged to apply. Prior experience in a call center or telephone customer service environment. Proven ability to manage a high volume of emails and phone calls from internal and external sources. Demonstrated success in establishing, coordinating, and reaching specific objectives. Strong professional communication skills suitable for a corporate environment, with the ability to work without constant oversight. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Experience with Google Business Apps (Gmail, Sheets, Calendar, etc.). Must be able to multitask, prioritize your workload, and work well both independently and as part of a team. Familiarity with Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) cloud-based platforms, with proficiency or the ability to quickly master tools such as Kayako Fusion, Callfire Broadcasting, ZohoCRM, RingCentral, and Smartsheet.
