Job Type: 3+ Months

Pay: $21.13 Per Hour On w2 Without Benefits

Shift Timing: Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Friday (8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.)

Description:

• Properly prepare food that is attractive, appetizing, and served at the proper temperatures.
• Follow DYS menus and recipes to comply with the National School Lunch Program, School Breakfast Program, and DYS policies and procedures.
• Enter required data onto production worksheets.
• Document any required recipe changes and submit them to the Facility Food Service Manager.
• Set up and tear down the serving line as needed.
• Garnish food on the serving line to maintain an appealing presentation.
• Serve food in the proper quantities according to DYS recipes.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures when handling food and cleaning food service areas.
• Clean food service equipment and the kitchen physical plant regularly or as assigned to keep them free of food particles, dust, and bacteria.
• Monitor and control food preparation and holding times and temperatures to prevent foodborne illness.
• Comply with the Colorado Retail Food Establishment Rules and Regulations.
