Janitor / Facilities Support Associate

Location: Charleston, SC ( Daniel Island )
Pay: Starting at $19.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-Time, 40 Hours per Week, First Shift (Flexible Start Time)
Start Date: Immediate Opening

Environmental Express is seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor / Facilities Support Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. This position plays an important role in supporting daily operations across office and manufacturing areas. The right candidate may have the opportunity to transition into a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, breakrooms, and common areas.
• Perform general cleaning duties throughout the manufacturing facility.
• Empty trash receptacles and replenish supplies as needed.
• Ensure facilities remain clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
• Set up and break down tables, chairs, and equipment for company meetings, events, and town halls.
• Assemble office furniture and equipment as needed.
• Assist with basic facility repairs and maintenance projects.
• Support various facility-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, custodial, facilities, or maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, furniture, and supplies.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Basic handyman or repair skills are a plus.
• Positive attitude and willingness to support team needs.
