Doherty Staffing Solutions is hiring a Receptionist for a utility company in Fergus Falls, MN. In this role, you'll serve as the first point of contact for customers, employees, retirees, and visitors while supporting daily front desk and administrative operations. • Answer and route incoming switchboard calls professionally and efficiently
• Greet visitors, guests, retirees, and customers while managing visitor registration and badges
• Monitor building security entrances and follow safety and security procedures
• Manage the reception inbox and perform data entry and clerical support tasks
• Record cafeteria transactions, maintain cash balances, and file supporting documentation
• Update directories, phone books, lunch menus, and reception reference materials
• Assist with special projects, mailings, meeting room coordination, and company communications

What You Need to Bring to the Receptionist Role:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous customer service or administrative support experience preferred
• Ability to create a welcoming environment with a professional appearance and demeanor
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Windows operating systems
• Strong phone skills, including call transfers, holds, and professional greetings
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and follow established policies and procedures
