Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Specialty Device Nurse

Cardiovascular Specialty Registered Nurse (RN) Pay Range: $32.95 - $48.75. Actual pay based on experience, skills, certifications, and education. Location: Springfield, IL. Schedule: Full time, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 40 hours per week. Responsibilities Manage implanted loop recorders, pacemakers, and ICDs. Provide support to EP physicians and APPs. Perform clinic checks and remote checks of devices. Triage device alerts received from vendor websites daily. Qualifications Education: Diploma or associate's degree in nursing required; bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; at least 1 year in critical care, specialty cardiac nursing, cath lab, or general cardiology practice. Specific experience with electrophysiology (EP) or device interrogation/interpretation/management, pulling chest tubes/packing wires, pacemaker or defibrillator checks, wound care, and anti‑arrhythmic pharmacologic management preferred. Knowledge of structural heart therapies such as Watchman, TAVR, MitraClip, extra‑vascular internal cardiac defibrillators, atrioventricular micra wireless permanent pacemakers, and EBR system wireless left‑ventricular lead placement preferred. Certifications & Licenses Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of practice. RNs may practice with a valid multi‑state RN license under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
