Job Description:


- Shift: 19:00-07:00
- Unit: Emergency Department
- Location: Lone Tree, CO
- Number of Beds: 27
- Staff: Approx. 60 with peak staffing during high-volume hours
- Patient Ratios: 4:1 with a dedicated charge nurse for critical cases

Key Highlights:
- Work in a busy ED with a 30% admit rate and diverse patient acuity
- Be part of a team that focuses on alternative pain management therapies, successfully reducing opioid usage by 34%
- Engage with a stable night shift team known for its consistency and effective leadership
- Collaborate with an involved ED leadership team committed to providing quality patient care and continuous education

Patient Care:
- Experience caring for high-acuity patients with a focus on safety and monitoring
- Perform procedural sedation using Propofol, Etomidate, and Ketamine
- Build strong relationships with patients and families through exceptional engagement skills

Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Minimum 1 year of current ED experience required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, TNCC, and ENPCPALS accepted
- Preferred: CEN certification and Meditech experience
- Personality: Proactive, engaged, and supportive of patient needs
