Join a team pushing the boundaries of advanced composites and building the future of the industry!The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of routine maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of all warehouse systems. This includes troubleshooting and repairing HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general equipment. The technician will conduct regular inspections, maintain equipment, and ensure all systems are functioning properly to minimize downtime. The role requires adherence to safety protocols, documentation of maintenance activities, and collaboration with external contractors as needed. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC systems, including air handlers, chillers, refrigeration, rooftop units, and associated controlsTroubleshoot, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, including pumps, motors, compressors, ovens, cooling systems and related equipmentDiagnose and repair electrical systems, including lighting, panels, outlets, motors, switches, and basic control wiringRespond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs in a timely mannerPerform general building maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, carpentry, painting, and minor constructionComputer skills required to maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and equipment logsEnsure compliance with OSHA, local codes, and company safety policiesSupport facility improvement projects and equipment installationsFollow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safety, quality, and compliance with industry standardsAdhere to company health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all staff membersWork independently with minimal supervision, efficiently managing time and resources to minimize disruptions to warehouse operations and productionPerforms other duties as assignedWhat You Will Bring to the Team:High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.Must be able to pass required respirator fit testing and remain clean-shaven in areas where a tight-fitting respirator seals to the face, in accordance with OSHA standards.Must be able to wear a tight-fitting respirator for the duration of the assigned shift, as required by the position.Successfully complete all applicable respiratory protection requirements, including a medical evaluation and respirator fit testing.Complete annual fit testing, with additional medical evaluations as required5+ years of relevant experience in maintenance, with expertise in machinery, HVAC, plumbing, and compressed air systemsCommunity college or trade school certification (preferred)HVAC experience (preferred)Experience using hand tools, electrical tools, and machineryProficient in operating sit-down forkliftsAbility to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlinesKnowledge and experience with control systems (e.g., VFD's, PLC's)Excellent customer service skills with an approachable and professional demeanorFlexibility and responsiveness, with a positive attitude and strong work ethicAbility to manage multiple tasks while maintaining professionalism and high standardsMust be able to pass required respirator fit testing and remain clean-shaven where a tight-fitting respirator seals to the face, in accordance with OSHA standards.Valid driver's licenseAbility to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and work in various physical conditionsMust be a U.S. Citizen or lawful Permanent Resident in compliance with ITAR regulations.Our Investment in You:Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance benefits.401(k) matching after 6 months tenurePaid time off (PTO) for vacation and sick daysEmployee referral program$3 Shift differential for 2nd shift employeesPotential to earn quarterly discretionary bonuses based on company performanceDiscounts on select services/productsClimate-controlled work environmentHours of Operation: 1st Shift 7:00 am– 4:00 pm and 2nd Shift 4:00 pm - 1:00 am ; Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends, overtime, and holidays as scheduled by leadership.Work Environment & Physical Requirements: Depending on the position and assigned duties, working conditions and physical requirements may include, but are not limited to:Prolonged periods of standing, walking, or sittingClimbing, balancing, bending, reaching, handling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, or pullingLifting, carrying, pushing, or moving materials, products, tools, or equipmentUsing computers, machinery, material-handling equipment, hand tools, power tools, or other job-related equipmentPerforming work that requires hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the handling of small parts or componentsWorking around moving mechanical equipment and in areas with varying noise levels, temperatures, fumes, airborne particles, dust, chemicals, or other manufacturing-related conditionsWearing required personal protective equipment, which may include safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, protective footwear, respirators, or other designated PPEUsing close, distance, peripheral, and depth vision, color recognition, and the ability to adjust focus when required by the positionThe specific work environment and physical requirements will depend on the essential functions of the position.
