Job Title

Travel RN – Stepdown (Nights)

Location

Festus, MO | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 3x12-hour shifts | Rotating weekends every other week | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care on a Cardiac Stepdown unit serving Neuro Medical Surgical patients
• Maintain professional accountability for the provision and quality of patient care, including oversight of care delivered by other direct care givers
• Coordinate patient care activities in conjunction with other departments to ensure continuity and effectiveness
• Uphold patient rights and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing requirements
• Adhere to facility dress code: black scrubs required

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of Stepdown experience
• Flu vaccination required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; declinations and exceptions are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC EMR
• Background working with Neuro Medical Surgical patient populations
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player with strong communication skills and flexibility
