Location IU Health Tipton Hospital Shift PRN flat-rate covering one Saturday/month and planned/unplanned absences Requirements Requires a Doctoral Degree from an accredited academic program in physical therapy or a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in physical therapy prior to 2016. If foreign trained, graduation from a physical therapy education program outside the US with educationally equivalent coursework accepted by Indiana PLA. Requires current Physical Therapist license in the State of Indiana. Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA. Advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies. Roles and Responsibilities Come join our team! IU Health Tipton Hospital is a 25‑bed critical access hospital with a robust therapy team offering a variety of specialized and generalized physical therapy interventions. This PRN position serves to support the team during times of high census and through planned and unplanned absences. This role includes a rotating weekend schedule for acute care. This position provides inpatient and outpatient physical therapy services to restore function, reduce pain and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assists patients to reach maximum performance levels. Provides all components of direct patient care including supervision of physical therapist assistants, support personnel and students. Willingly participates in related activities in support of patient care, education and department operations.
