Key Responsibilities

• Utilize equipment such as pallet jacks and, potentially, forklifts to move cargo efficiently.
• Sort, stack, and organize goods, including rebuilding or breaking down pallets.
• Check for damage, verify shipment accuracy, and ensure proper labeling of all items.
• Keep a clean, organized, and safe workspace by adhering to all safety guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with colleagues and supervisors to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
• Perform manual unloading and loading of cargo, including packages, materials, and pallets from trucks and containers.

Required Skills

• Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy items
• Basic understanding of warehouse operations and safety standards
• Excellent attention to detail for verifying shipment accuracy
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience operating forklifts or other warehouse equipment
• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or similar environment
• Familiarity with inventory management systems

Preferred Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience as a Lumper or in a similar role is a plus

Other Requirements

• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
• Willingness to undergo any required safety training and certifications
