Registered NurseWe are currently accepting applications to fill six Registered Nurse vacancies in County of Santa Barbara Health. We have two Full-Time openings at the Lompoc Health Center, one Full-Time opening at the Santa Maria Health Center, one Full-Time opening at the Santa Barbara Health Center, one Full-Time opening at the Franklin Health Center in Santa Barbara, and one Part-Time (72 hours weekly) opening at the Franklin Health Center in Santa Barbara. The County classification title is Staff Nurse.We are also accepting applications to establish one employment list that will be used to fill current and future Full-Time, Part-Time, Extra Help and 1414* vacancies in multiple locations including Santa Barbara, Santa Maria, and Lompoc. Please select all locations you would like to be considered for current and future vacancies.Salary: $49.07 - $59.06 Hourly Bilingual allowance, when applicableThe ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with staff, partners, and clients. A high level of professionalism, sound judgment, and discretion when handling sensitive information is required. One or more years of nursing experience in OB-GYN, Family Medicine, Pediatrics, or Ambulatory Care is preferred. The ability to adapt to changing priorities and problem-solve effectively in a fast-paced clinical or administrative environment is necessary. Experience working with underserved or diverse populations is also required. Familiarity with federally funded programs such as Medi-Cal, Medicare, CPSP, and Every Woman Counts is preferred. Bilingual or medical Spanish skills are preferred. The ability to effectively multitask, prioritize competing demands, and apply critical thinking to identify and implement practical solutions is essential.
