Forward Deployed AI Engineer

Location: New York, NY

Compensation: $180-200K + Bonus

US Citizens only; No Visa Sponsorship

Candidates must be local; No Relocation

This is a full-time opportunity

Responsibilities:

• Partner with stakeholders to identify operational friction, map complex systems, and translate business challenges into high-impact MVPs and scalable AI visions.
• Architect, code, and deploy GenAI solutions, AI agents, and automated workflows integrated with enterprise APIs, databases, and apps.
• Collaborate with software teams to bring prototypes to production, leveraging coding agents and modern AI development workflows.
• Convert custom deployment patterns into reusable assets, reference architectures, and enterprise AI roadmaps.
• Implement enterprise-grade security, human-in-the-loop controls, fallback mechanisms, and telemetry to evaluate performance, latency, cost, and business impact.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to executives, influence cross-functional decisions without direct authority, and mentor partner teams.

Qualifications:

Required

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or technical consulting shipping end-to-end products.
• Strong software engineering foundation (backend, distributed systems, or API orchestration) with hands-on experience using coding agents.
• Proven ability to analyze end-to-end systems, articulate technical tradeoffs, and drive cross-functional alignment.

Preferred

• Experience building with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, MCP, tool calling, or frameworks like LangGraph, Temporal, or LlamaIndex.
• Hands-on experience with AI evaluation, observability tools, and responsible AI safeguards (human-in-the-loop).
• Track record of driving AI adoption within financial services or highly regulated industries.
