The role involves analysis, research, design, simulation, characterization, and release-to-production of high-performance, ultra-low power integrated circuits.As part of the hearables and wearables design team, you will create high-performance edge processing solutions that shape device operation, music enjoyment, and connectivity. The rise of connected, voice-activated devices and wearable audio peripherals demands innovative solutions.The successful candidate will join a team with a track record of producing breakthrough innovative architectures for audio DAC/ADC and ultra-low power circuits. The successful candidate must have a strong, intuitive capability in solving complex challenges. The candidate will be self-motivated and be able to work effectively within a team.Job Location: Wilmington, MAResponsibilitiesLead the architectural definition and design of complex mixed-signal ICs from concept through production releaseParticipate in design optimization for power, performance, and area, and ensure compliance with rigorous quality standards.Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to junior engineers and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovative solutions and deliver successful products to market.Work with digital design and design verification teams on block and system integration and verification at the chip levelCoordinate with product definition, applications, and test engineering to define requirements and oversee the transition of new products from concept to production releaseAssess and resolve complex integrated circuit issues in the laboratoryEducation and Experience Requirements:M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, 7+ years CMOS IC design experienceFamiliar with high-gain amplifiers, switched-capacitor circuits, comparators, integrators, voltage references, LDOsExcellent written/verbal communication; strong cross-team collaborationManage layout and post-layout simulationsPreferred QualificationsADC/DAC design experienceAudio IC design backgroundProficient in Cadence schematic capture and SPICE simulationSkilled with MATLAB or similar modeling toolsKnowledgeable in digital signal processing conceptsAnalog/digital behavioral modelling expertiseTeam and project leadership experienceFor positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls.
