Senior Coordinator, Home-Based ERSEA

Purpose Statement The job of Senior Coordinator, Home-Based ERSEA is done for the purpose/s of managing the delivery of high-quality Early Learning Services for children and families by providing leadership, direct services, and supervision for Home Visitor staff. This job reports to Early Head Start Home-Based Manager Essential Functions Consults with Home Visitors regarding specific needs of families prior to enrollment (e.g., language needs, issues related to homelessness, domestic violence, developmental concerns, etc.) for the purpose of supporting positive outcomes and ensuring cultural awareness. Coordinates and supports recruitment efforts of all home-based staff for the purpose of developing, maintaining supply of recruitment materials; schedules staff for community meetings and events; maintains program website; and tracks recruitment efforts, etc. Develops and implements plans and systems related to application process, eligibility, selection, and enrollment (e.g., processing applications, tracking of openings, and filling slots within required timeframe, managing centralized wait list, etc.) for the purpose of compliance with program requirements. Develops community partnerships for purposes of recruitment, referral, and resource sharing. Embodies the principles and practices that form our culture and commitment to becoming an Antiracist Multicultural Organization for the purpose of meeting the Agency’s End: Success for Each Child and Eliminating the Opportunity Gap by Leading with Racial Equity. Facilitates in a variety of meetings (e.g., reflective practice, workshops, in-service training, staff/team meetings, team meetings, etc.) for the purpose of contributing to program services and conveying and/or gathering information. Maintains a variety of manual and electronic documents, files, and records for the purpose of providing up-to-date reference and audit trail for compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Manages caseload assignments (e.g., considers workload equity, geographic location, language needs of family, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring full enrollment and compliance with other program requirements. Monitors home-based service delivery (e.g., documentation and record-keeping, home visit completion, curriculum fidelity, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring compliance with program requirements. Monitors staff training attendance and records for the purpose of ensuring child safety and compliance with program and federal funding requirements. Participates in data collection and analysis for the purpose of contributing to the overall planning and implementing of program goals and action plans. Partners with PSESD Early Learning staff for the purpose of ensuring that site is integrated into other PSESD programs while maintaining program standards and quality. Prepares a variety of written materials (e.g., reports, documentation, evaluations, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities, providing written reference and/or conveying information. Provides training, technical assistance and/or consultation to home visitors for the purpose of supporting positive outcomes for children and families. Responds to a wide variety of inquiries from others (e.g., staff, district personnel, families, community partners, etc.) for the purpose of providing information. Supervises personnel (e.g., provide consultation on technical issues, adaptive challenges, personnel matters, strategic opportunities, career goals, professional development, job performance, etc.) for the purpose of advancing the development of effective leaders and high performing teams and achieving agency and departmental objectives. Other Functions Assist other personnel as may be required for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment.
