SoC Security Engineer - Platform Architecture Cupertino, California, United States – Hardware Description As part of the Platform Architecture organization, the Security Architecture team has a mission to provide rock-solid security foundation to Apple’s products. We evaluate security threats, define security features, architect security solutions, and collaborate with software teams to ensure seamless security systems across silicon design flow. Responsibilities Analyze hardware and software attack vectors. Define hardware and software security-related features. Architect security solutions in HW and SW. Develop evaluation plans for both HW and SW. Communicate with multi-functional teams. Minimum Qualifications BS in EE/CE, Computer Science or related engineering degree. Experience in definition of secure systems. Experience in threat modeling and weaknesses analysis. Experience with SoC architecture. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of relevant industry experience. MS or PhD in EE/CE, Computer Science or related engineering degree. Solid background of applied cryptography. Exposure to OS security. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to independently pursue new ideas and innovations. Good knowledge of Verilog/VHDL. Experience in C/C++ and interpretive language such as Perl/Python. Compensation and Benefits Base pay range: $181,100 - $272,100. Additional total compensation may include discretionary bonuses, commission payments, and relocation support.
